ARRESTED IN CHILE
PARTY OF GERMAN AGENTS. INCLUDING FORMER CONSUL-GENERAL. (By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright) (Received This Day, 12.35 p.m.) NEW YORK, October 15. The Chilean police have detained in a seaside resort Dr. Hans Borchers, former German Consul-General in New York, and three other men arrested last week as German spies. An Associated Press correspondent at Santiago, reporting this, said Borchers, who was ordered from the United States after the closing of German Consulates, arrived in Chile in March, without diplomatic or Consular credentials.
