MASTERTON STOCK SALE
SHARP RISE IN PRICES FOR FAT SHEEP. Operations by outside buyers resulted in prices for fat sheep showing a pronounced rise at the Masterton stock sale today. .Bidding was keen from a large bench of buyers. Some early prices are: Sheep: W.W. hoggets, 36s 3d; fat ewes, 24s 7d; shorn 4-th w. wethers, 30s 4d, 30s 7d; w.b.f’s., 27s 6d.
