ROUTINE ORDERS FOR WEEK
Routine orders for the Masterton Battalion of the Home Guard, issued by Major A. L. Hibbs, states inter alia:— Parades: A, B and C Coys: As arranged by Cov. Commanders. Petrol Guards: Thursday, October 15, at Harcombe’s Garage at 7.0 p.m. Signal Platoon: Thursday, October 15, at the Central School at 7.0 p.m. Pioneer Platoon: Thursday. October 15, at the West School at 7.0 p.m. M.M.G. Platoon: Thursday, October 15, and Monday, October 19, at the Mokotoa Scout Den at 7.0 p.m. Medical Platoon: Thursday, October 15, and Monday, October 19, at the Municipal Hall at 7.0 p.m. H.Q. Coy. Mortar Platoon and M.M G. Platoon will parade at 1.30 p.m. on Saturday. October 17, at Battalion Headquarters All men in the Battalion Pool will report to Headquarters with their rifles and equipment, Appointments: Pioneer Platoon: Sgt. J. Robertson to retain rank of Sergeant; Cpl. K. S. Ralph to retain rank of Corporal; Cpl. W. E. .Holdgate to retain rank of Corporal; Sgt. L. H. Carter to revert to Corporal. Transfers: —From Bideford Platoon to Wangaehu Platoon: Cpl. D. J. Falloon, L/Cpl. F. M. Wriglcv, Guardsmen D. D. Carswell, J. Donald, T. H. Falloon; from Bideford Platoon to Pool B Company: Sgt. G.
