STATE THEATRE

“NURSE CAVELL.” Tonight's programme will be headed by “Nurse Cavell,” the brilliantly .presented story of the heroic woman who was brutally shot by the Germans in the last war. Her devotion to the allied soldiers and her efforts to ease their sufferings in hospital and her attempts to rescue them from the Huns and assist their escape are most graphically described in the picture. It is a presentation which will stir the blood of Britishers the world over'and the acting is of a very high standard. It is certainly a picture which should not be missed. The outstanding British star, Anna Neagle, has the principal role and is strongly supported by George Sanders, May Robson and Edna May Oliver. There is an excellent supporting programme.
