One woman was killed and a second injured when a motor car was hit by a train at a Rangiora crossing last night. The victims were: — Killed: Mrs Ann Lillian Spencer, wife of the licensee of the Commercial Hotel at Oxford. Injured: Mrs C. Haack, wife of Constable C. R. C. Haack, of Christchurch. Mrs Haack was the driver of the car.
