Thousands of black-coat workers in Moscow are packing their bags for a four months’ stay in the forests of the Moscow region, where they will become lumber-jacks for the first time in their lives. The Moscow Soviet has issued new rules for reducing lighting: one bulb of 25 watts must now serve a medium-sized room, one bulb of 16 watts a hall or bath-room. For violation of this rule consumers are liable to a fine of ten times their electrciity bills. FOOTBALL INCIDENT.—At a critical moment the announcer sneezed.
