ROUTINE ORDERS FOR WEEK.
Routine orders for the Masterton Battalion of the Home Guard, issued by Major A. L. Hibbs, are:— , Parades: A, B and C Coys.: As arranged by company commanders. Petrol Guards: Thursday, October 1 at Harcombe's Garage at 7 0 p.m. Pioneer Platoon: Thursday, October 1, at the West School at 7.0 p.m Signals Platoon: Thursday, October 1, at the Central School at 7.0 p.m. Medical Platoon: Thursday, October 1, at the Municipal Hall at 7 0 p.m.; Monday, October 5, at the Municipal Hall at 7.0 p.m. Mortar Platoon: Sunday, October 4, at the Soldiers Club at 8.15 a.m.’ Tuesday,' October 6, at the Soldieis Club at 7.0 p.m. M.M.G. Platoon: Thursday, October 1, at the Mokatoa Scout Den at 7.0 p.m.: Sunday, October 4, at the Mokatoa Scout Den at 8.30 a.m. for shooting Practice on rifle range; Monday. October 5. at the Mokatoa Scout Den at 7.0 p.m. Sir Apirana Ngata will address all Maou members of the battalion on Sunday. October 4 at Te Ore Ore. Transport will be provided by the Lines of Communications Company. Coy. Commanders will be notified time and assembly point later. General Puttick will be visiting Masteiton at an early date for the purpose of addressing the officers of Group 78. Marched in: Lieut. Brockett from C.D.S.L Marched out: M. J. Finlayson to Army; R B. Wareham to Army; V. Mangham to Lines of Communication; I. R. Cardno to Air Force Cadets. .
