LATEST BRITISH AWARDS. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day, 11.15 a.m.) RUGBY, September 29. Already thrice decorated —with the D. 5.0., D.F.C. and A.F.C.—Group Captain R. Broadhurst, of the R.A.F., now gains a Bar to the D.F.C. This latest decoration was won during the Dieppe operation, when Group Captain Broadhurst flew for eight hours alone in an area where hostile patrols were operating. in great strength. He displayed great skill and furnished valuable information. . . , jHis name appears in a list including six D.F.C. and Bar, 17 D.F.C., and five D.F.M. awards. These go to airmen from all parts of the Empire, including New Zealand.
