ROAD DEATHS
REDUCTION IN BRITAIN IN THIRD YEAR OF WAR. BUT PEACE TIME FIGURES MUCH EXCEEDED. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day, 10.20 a.m.) RUGBY, September 28. Deaths in road accidents in the third year of war totalled 7,693. This is nearly 2,400 fewer than in the second year of war, but is substantially higher than in the last year of peace.
