MANY AMERICANS
ROUNDED UP BY POLICE IN PARIS. HANDED OVER TO GERMANS FOR INTERNMENT. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) LONDON. September 27. The police in Paris have rounded up at least 250 Americans who have been handed over to the Germans for internment. Many at present in custody are reported to include Mr Charles Bedaux, in whose chateau at Decade, near Tours, the Duke of Windsor and Mrs Simpson were married.
