AIR FORCE MATCH. WIN FOR WAIRARAPA. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. In a match between Air Force teams al Athletic Park on Saturday afternoon, Wai rarapa beat Wellington by 21 points to 11. The visitors had better combination and moved faster than the local fifteen. For Wairarapa tries were scored by Fauchelle, Allen, Budge, Dermer and Gotlieb, one o. which was converted by Mclsaac, and Meharry potted a goal. The points for Wellington were made up of tries by Smith, Welsford and Price, one of which jvas converted by Mahoney. ARMY GAME. SOUTH ISLAND BEATS NORTH. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) The inter-island Army Rugby game was played at Lancaster Park in ideal conditions, and ended in a clear-cut win for South Island by 21 points to 12, but the difference of nine points more than represented the difference in the teams.
