The Foxton Racing Club was favoured by brilliant weather for its spring meeting, held on the Otaki course on Saturday, and despite traffic difficulties there was a good attendance. The totalisator handled £19,471 10s, againset £21,730 10s for the corresponding meeting last year, held at Levin.
