THREE NAZI PLANES
SHOT DOWN IN BAY OF BISCAY TWO BY BEAUFIGHTERS. POLISH PILOT’S VICTORY AT ODDS. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day, 9.35 a.m.) RUGBY, September 25. The Polish pilot of a Wellington, who was attacked by two Junkers 88s in the Bay of Biscay yesterday, shot down one and forced the other to break away. This was the third Junkers destroyed in the Bay of Biscay yesterday, two others being shot down by Beaufighters.
