An Ankara message says travellers report that battles between the forces of the Yugoslav, General Mikhailovitch, and German Croat troops have resulted in the Belgrade-Zagreb railway being out of action since August 19. The alternative long detour through Hungary must now be taken. Largescale fighting is occurring over an extensive area.
