There was a large a ttendance of mourners. The Rev. David McNeur conducted a service at McGregor Hall i (Knox Church), and also officiated at the graveside. In paying a tribute to the late Miss Wallis, Mr McNeur said she had made the Christ that went about continually doing good her Master, and had felt called to the service of restoring the sick and healing the injured. How many there were of those to testify to her care and skill. She had given years of faithful service in Masterton and elsewhere. They were there that day to pay their respects because of all the good she had done in the community.
