466 BUILT IN UNITED STATES SINCE SEPTEMBER, 1941. GOAL OF 8,000,000 TONS THIS YEAR (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day, 10.20 a.m.) RUGBY, September 25. Since the first Liberty ship was launched on September 17, 1941, 466 merchant ships have been put into service in the United States, states a Washington message. The scheduled delivery of 22 more ships in the last three days of this month will make the September total 92, which 'is the highest monthly rate in the programme.
