OBITUARY

MR WILLIE BURRIDGE. The death occurred on Saturday afternoon of Mr Willie Burridge, a wellknown resident of Masterton. He had been in ill health for some considerable time. The late Mr Burridge, who was 75 years of age, was born in Kaiapoi and came to Masterton in 1898. At one time he was a keen supporter of the miniature rifle movement. He was a member of the Masterton A. and P. Association, Savage Club, Foresters’ Lodge, and of many other societies set up for the benefit or progress of the town.

A widow and three sons, Messrs R. R., S. E. and V. E. Burridge, all of Masterton, are left to mourn their loss.

The funeral took place this afternoon.
