In consequence of the experiences gained during the earthquake emergency the E.P.S. executive requests each householder to ascertain the position of the stop-cock (toby) controlling his water supply and that he acquaint himself with the simple operation of turning off the water, as he may thereby, should future emergency occur, save considerable damage to property.
