PRICE ADJUSTMENTS IN BRITAIN. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, September 19. To encourage British housewives Io use more potatoes from the good crop, and so save wheat and (lour, the price of bread has been increased by Id a 41b. loaf, and the price of potatoes lias been reduced to an average of Id a lb., which will be maintained during the main crop season. The price of bread since October, 19'11, had been 8d a 4|b. loaf.
The object of the adjustment is Io reduce calls on shipping space for the transport of imported wheat.
