EXCELSIOR HOCKEY CLUB

ANNUAL DANCE. AN ENJOYABLE .GATHERING. The Masonic Hall was crowded almost to overflowing last evening, the occasion being the annual dance of the Excelsior Ladies’ Hockey Club. It was a most successful gathering in every way, an energetic committee attending to every detail necessary for the comfort and enjoyment of the dancers. Music was provided by the Blue River Dance Band, and was the subject of much favourable comment, as was also the dainty and plentiful supper provided. Mr A. Southey acted as M.C. At the special request of a large number 1 of servicemen present, it has been decided by the club to hold another dance in a fortnight’s time.
