ANOTHER VISIT
R.A.F. AGAIN BOMBS MANDALAY. JAPANESE RIVER CRAFT ATTACKED. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day, 11.30 a.m.) RUGBY, September 17. A New Delhi communique states:— “The R.A.F. yesterday again raided Mandalay. Japanese river craft were attacked and bombs fell in the area of the quay. A direct hit was scored on a barge, but other results could not be observed. All our planes returned.”
