ARMISTICE NEGOTIATIONS IN MADAGASCAR
GOVERNOR-GENERAL REJECTS TERMS.
VICHY SPEAKS OF CONTINUED FIGHTING.
LONDON, September 17.
The Vichy radio announced that the Governor-General of Madagascar (M. Annet)< had rejected the terms for an armistice. There is no confirmation of this from any other source. Vichy says fighting continues.
