U=BOAT CHASER
PRESENTED TO NORWEGIAN NAVY. PRACTICAL AMERICAN TRIBUTE. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day, 11.25 a.m.) RUGBY, September 16. President Roosevelt has presented a United States submarine chaser to the Norwegian Navy as a tribute to Norway’s valiant resistance: “To the treachery and brute force” of the Axis powers, states a Washington message.
