MORE WOMEN
REQUIRED FOR SERVICE IN BRITAIN. OVERHAUL OF REGISTERS ■ OF MEN. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, September 15. In spite of the remarkable number of volunteers in the last six months two for every one conscribed—more women are required for the services, and to that end the Ministry of Labour is starting a publicity drive. The Ministry has also ordered a complete overhaul of the registers of both men and women. This is already in progress in the cases of men of military age, and a new overhaul will inelude men of 41 to 50. These will have to register by September 19, and women of 45 must register by October 3.
