MOTOR-DRIVEN VESSEL OF LIGHT DRAUGHT.
(By Telegraph—Press Association— Copyright) (Received This Day. 12.20 p.m.) NEW YORK. September 16. The Associated Press of America says the experimental cargo vesseSeamobile is described as being virtually immune to torpedo aicack, because it would ride so high m the water that torpedoes would pass undei it. It is also said to be inexpensive, since only gasoline motors are used and they could be mass-produced, ine experiments were inconclusive when the first full-sized vessel of the Sea Otter type was built and it disclosed defects which called for redesigning.
