Anti-Nazi activity in the Balkan countries continues to grow. In Croatia saboteurs have so badly damaged the railways system that a nightly curfew has been imposed. There has also been more sabotage on railways in Bulgaria. A German troop tram was derailed and smashed. Guerilla patriots continue to battle against the Bulgarian occupation authorities in Yugoslavia. In one town, Bulgarian officials were attacked by troops who had the support of aircraft. Since the weekend there have been broadcasts in five languages from the 8.8. C. to Europe urging the prevention of harvests reaching enemies. A correspondent on the Italian frontier reports the destruction of the harvest at Trebinje and also reports that guerillas attacked and killed sixteen Italians and eleven Croat terrorists. Other partisans derailed a goods train near Sarajevo and killed three Italian soldiers. Guerillas derailed a troop train near Zilina, killed 28 and injured 36. Six Hungarians have been sentenced to death for co-operating with. Serbian guerillas. It is reported from Ankara that the Bulgarian premier, Professor Filov, told a secret session of Parliament that an attempt was made on September 8 to assassinate the Minister of the Interior (M. Gabrovsky). Several hundred persons were executed as a reprisal. ____
