BREMEN BLASTED

HEAVY DAMAGE & MANY CASUALTIES ADMITTED BY GERMANS. HUNDREDTH R.A.F. ATTACK ON BIG WAR CENTRE. LONDON, September 14. A strong force of R.A.F. bombers raided Bremen last night. It was the hundredth attack on Germany’s second greatest .port and big war supply centre. The Germans themselves admit that casualties were heavy and damage widespread. In these and other operations the British lost 19 bombers. An enemy bomber was shot down by fighters this evening on the east, coast of England. No other enemy air activity was reported today.
