FOUND DEAD

MISSING WAIROA SHEPHERD INDICATION OF ACCIDENT. HORSE & RIDER FALL OVER BANK INTO STREAM. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WAIROA, This Day. The body of the youth, Peter Baker, who had been missing since Saturday, was found in a creek at Tekemokihi Station this morning. Indications point to horse and rider having fallen over a bank into the stream where the body was discovered, underneath the animal, which was also dead. Baker, who was a fine type of lad, had an outstanding record as a swimmer, having annexed several championships in the Wairoa district.
