TABLE TENNIS
WINTER SPORTS CLUB GAMES. OPEN CHAMPIONSHIP WINNERS. The Masterton Winter Sports Club held its table tennis championship contests on Saturday night. The winners of the various grades were:— Men’s A grade singles, I. Coleman; runner-up, J. Nicholls; men’s B grade singles, T. Grant; runner-up, T. Condon; ladies’ singles, Mrs J. Nicholls, runner-up, N. Brown; men’s A grade doubles, J. Nicholls and J. Haywood; runners-up, I. Coleman and P. Greenlees; men’s B grade doubles, T. Grant and T. Condon; runners-up, J. Forrester and H. Madsen; combined doubles, I. Coleman and N. Brown; runners-up, Mr and Mrs J. Nicholls. An opportunity was also taken to farewell and make presentations to Messrs J. Nicholls and I. Coleman.
