COURSING

FINAL MEETING OF SEASON. DRAW FOR SUNDAY. The final coursing meeting for the present season will be held at the Akura Plumpton on Sunday next, at 2 p.m. The C.E. Grey trophy will be competed for and with hares and dogs in fine condition another most successful meeting is confidently anticipated. The committee have completed all arrangements, and a large attendance of the public is expected. The draw is as follows: —Young Desire (Hastings) v. Hats Off (Hastings); Flying Footsteps (Carterton) v. China’s Boy (Hastings); Black Diamond (Masterton) v. Royal Silver (Masterton); Ngamatapouri (Masterton) v. Better ‘Days (Wellington); R.A.F. (Wellington) v. Great Starve (Masterton); Micawber’s Worry (Masterton) a bye.
