EXAMPLE AND INSPIRATION TO ALLIES MR ANTHONY EDEN'S MESSAGE. ON THIRD WAR ANNIVERSARY. (British Official Wireless. 1 (Received This Day. 10.15 a.m.) RUGBY, September 1. . On the occasion of the third anniversary of the German attack on Poland, Mr Anthony Eden addressed a message to Count Raczynski, the Polish Ambassador and Acting Foreign Secretary. Mr Eden said: "The example of the Polish people under ruthless oppression at home, and of their leaders and armed forces abroad, inspires every freedom-loving nation in . the world. Fighting in (he ranks of the United Nations. Great Britain and Poland are pledged to carry on the common struggle until the day of victory restores the greatness, of Poland and the freedom of her people."
