MASTERTON CLUB. SINGLES CHAMPIONSHIP. The Masterton Indoor Bowling Club commenced the singles championship this week and the games were' very evenly contested. The following are the results: E. Gray 14 beat Dewar 13; Pickering 30 beat Cliff .15; Freeman 17 beat Shaw 16: Morgan 18 beat Lennie 17; Ihaka 20 beat Knowles 19; Andrews 18 beat Phillips 17 Hearps beat Read: Lewis 21 beat Spademan 17: Stains 19 beat McErlick 18: Stewart beat Anstice; Henson 24 beat Leigh 12 ; A. Gray 27 beat F. Mooney 7. Freeman and Pickering Is) who have held the Park Ferns all the season lost them to Stewart and Dewar (s) 27 to 16.
