PRIMARY SCHOOLS.’ TOURNEY WON BY HUTT VALLEY. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON. This Day. By winning all its three matches, the Hutt Valley team won the annual primary school Rugby tournament between representative teams from Horowhenua, Hutt Valley, Wairarapa and Wellington. The concluding games of the tournament were played under the most wretched conditions on the Hutt Recreation Ground yesterday, when Hutt Valley brat Horowhenua and Wellington drew with Wairarapa. The first game, between Wellington and Wairarapa. developed into a hard forward struggle l . Toward the end of the first spell Mason scored an unconverted try for 'Wellington, and in the second pell Matthews scored for Wairarapa. the game finishing without either side gaining the advantage In the final game of the tourname.it Hutt Valley met Horowhenua in a miserable enzzle In the first snell McClure, Su and Sn'.ih scored tries for Hutt Valley, none of them being converted. Neither side was able to score after the change-over, and the game ended in a 9-0 victory for Hutt Valley.
