President Roosevelt announced ai, a Press conference that forthcom ng steps to control the cost of living would include stabilisation of farm prices and wages. The new anti-infla-tion programme would probably be announced in a radio speech and in a message to Congress about Labour Day. The President added that the American people must expect to have to make tough sacrifices.
