—4 HIGHEST PRICE OF SEASON FOR FAT SHEEP.

The highest price of the season for fat sheep was realised at the Masterton stock sale today, when an exceptionally good line of fat wethers, on account of R. Liverton, brought 40s. There was a keen demand for fat sheep and the sale was one of the best for some time. Prices were: Fat wethers 40s, 39s 9d, 38s 6d, 38s; medium wethers, 32s to 35s 3d; shorn wethers, 35s 3d; fat ewes, best 28s 6d, 28s; others from 25s 9d io 27s 9d. Weaner pigs made 35s and 30s.
