GALE DAMAGE
■ IN THE GREY DISTRICT. (Bv Telegraph—Press Association.) GREYMOUTH, This Day. The Grey district experienced a stormy night and in the morning a heavy gale but no rain. The chief damage sustained was to the Grey Trotting Club’s grandstand in Victoria Park this morning. Half the roof and the north end of the building were destroyed. Tim less is estimated at
£4OO. * Tiio caretaker. Mr Watson, had a narrow escape from injury. There is minor damage throughout the district.
