COURSING

EVENT FOR YULE TROPHY. Next weekend the open stake for Wellington and Wairarapa owned greyhounds will be decided at the Akura Plumpton by the Wairarapa Coursing Club. This trophy, which has been donated by Mr F. Yule, of Carterton, promises to draw a good field of open class dogs and competition should be very even. Owners are reminded that nominations close on Wednesday at 6 p.m. The draw will take place the same evening in the A. and P. Rooms, Perry Street, at 8.30. At 7.30 the executive will meet to make final arrangements for the meeting.
