VISIT TO WASHINGTON
BRITISH UNDER-SECRETARY FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS. (Britisli Official Wireless.) (Received This Day, 11.30 a.m.) RUGBY. August 24. Mr Richard Law, Foreign Undersecretary, is paying a short visit to Lord Halifax (British Ambassador to the United States), during the Parliamentary recess, at Lord Halifax’s invitation. The visit will be purely informal and for the purpose of keeping in touch on British and American questions.
