4>— RELAXATION IN INLAND ‘ AREAS, NEW ORDERS TO OPERATE ' ON FRIDAY. Steps are to be taken in the Wairarapa as soon as possible to amend street lighting in accordance with the recently gazetted regulations, which provide for some relaxation in lighting in inland districts. The District Lighting Controller, Mr George Brown, stated today that as soon as instructions were received from the Dominion Lighting Controller the alterations would be carried out, following a meeting of the Lighting Committee.
