TRANSFER. TO STRATFORD

SENIOR SERGEANT DOGGETT. Senior Sergeant G. A. Doggett, who has been stationed in Masterton for the past five years, has received notice of his transfer to Stratford, to take charge of the station there. He will be succeeded in Masterton by Senior Sergeant C. Murphy, of the Hamilton district and formerly of Palmerston North. Prior to coming to Masterton SeniorSergeant Doggett was in Dannevirke, Hastings, Wellington and Marlborough. As a junior constable he was stationed in Masterton many years ago and later he had charge of the police station at Pongaroi? for 44 years.
