enjoyable: gathering EUCHRE PARTY AND DANCE. (“Times-Age” Special.) The euchre party and dance held by the School Committee in the South Featherston Hall was well attended. The music was supplied by Mr T. Udy’s Orchestra. The Monte Carlo waltzes were won by J. Simmonds and partner and Miss Myrene Dick and partner. A lucky spot dance was won by Mr and Mrs Rasmussen.

The card winners were:— Ladies: Mrs Simmonds, 1; Mrs J. Fenwick, 2. Men: Pte. Il Boyd and Mr N. Burt, equal, 1. . . , Supper was served by the ladies committee.
