TROPHIES OF LAST WAR. AMERICAN ARMY PROMISES REPLACEMENT. (By Telegraph—Press Association— Copyright) ’WASHINGTON, August 17. The Army has requested the mayors of all cities to contribute the trophies of the last war, such as captured cannon and tanks, which are now standing in the parks, for conversion into i armaments, promising to replace them latter the war with new trophies capitured from the Germans and Japanese.
