CREW MISSING

FROM SMALL AMERICAN AIRSHIP. VESSEL FALLS IN SUBURBAN STREET. (By Telegraph-Press Association-Copyright) ' SAN FRANCISCO, August 17. A small Navy patrol blimp landed without its crew, out of control, at a street intersection in the suburban Daly City and collapsed in a heap. The naval authorities immediately instituted a search for two officers who are known to have been aboard, and whose parachutes were found in the wreckage . One depth-bomb rack was empty when the blimp landed, and a charge was later found unexploded on a nearby golf course. The blimp was engaged on anti-submarine patrol oft the Pacific coast.
