The Hon. P. C. Webb, Minister of Labour, returned to Wellington today from a visit to the South Island.
The Hon. R. Semple, Minister of Railways, returned to Wellington from the South Island today. Misses Heather Douglas and Gwenda Barber, Pownall Street, Masterton, are spending a holiday in Dunedin. The Hon. W. E. Parry, Minister of Internal Affairs, returned to Wellington this morning from Auckland. Advice has been received by Mr and Mrs J. L, Burns, Dixon Street, Masterton,, that their son, L/Cpl. W. Burns is missing.
Miss Pinkerton, Akura, has returned home after having been the weekend guest of Mrs Pinkerton, Lyall Bay. The Hon. J. G. Barclay, Minister of Marketing, who recently returned to New Zealand from a visit to Australia, arrived at Wellington yesterday from Auckland.
