SABOTAGE RING
ATTEMPTED ESTABLISHMENT IN UNITED STATES EFFORTS OF GERMAN HIGH COMMAND. REPORT TO PRESIDENT. (By Telegraph—Press Association— Copyright) (Received This Day, 11.30 a.m.) WASHINGTON, August, 16. Representative M. Dies, chairman of the Dies Committee, announced that he had sent to President Roosevelt a document disclosing efforts by the German High Command to establish a huge sabotage ring, with headquarters in Chicago. Mr Dies also enclosed a list of 17,000 dangerous Nazi sympathisers in the United States.
