Representative M. Dies, chairman of the Dies Committee, announced that he had sent to President Roosevelt a document disclosing efforts by the German High Command to establish a huge sabotage ring, with headquarters in Chicago. Mr Dies also enclosed a list of 17,000 dangerous Nazi sympathisers in the United States.
