A large number of 2-gallon screw top petrol and oil tins are required by the Army for the equipment of various types of motor vehicles. The owners of all such containers are asked to make them available to the military authorities as spon as possible. Payment of 2s 6d will be made for each container in good condition, but donations of tins will be appreciated. Members of the public desiring to respond to this appeal are asked to deliver the containers to the nearest Post Office where payment will be made if required.
