OF ITALIAN FASCIST PARTY. (By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright) LONDON, August 14. * Mussolini is carrying out yet another purge of his Fascist Party, this time a wholesale one. Already, since investigations were begun in May. 66.000 members have been expelled from the party because their allegiance is held in doubt. Among, reasons given for the expulsions are lack of interest in party affairs, failure to wear the Fascist badge and infringement of rationing regulations. It is stated that the purge, which is described in Rome as a “revision of membership," will continue in order to get rid of “harmful deadweights."
