Enemy prisoners of war in the- vicinity of Calgary (Canada) appear to be a very “kultured” lot, with a : >omewhat blunted sense of humour. The other’ day a consignment of them: was being escorted to an internment 'CEimp, and found great enjoyment in. the spectacle of the crash of a R oyal Canadian Air Force plane, in which two men lost their lives, in the :foot j hills of the Rocky Mountains. The internees are reported to have jet 'red and cheered, and generally carried on in a boisterous fashion at the tn rgic sight which, by a coincidence, I hey were “privileged” to witness.
