INDOOR BASKETBALL
MEN’S CHAMPIONSHIP WON BY ARMY SERVICE CORPS. LADIES’ PREMIERSHIP TO W.F.C.A. The final games in the ladies’ indoor basketball championships were played in the Y.M.C.A. gymnasium last evening before a good attendance of the public. The games were most evenly contested and many good games were witnessed. The championships were won by the following teams: Ladies A grade, W.I.C A ladies’ B grade, Rangers; ladies jumoi. State Kitchenette; men’s A grade, Army Sei vice Corps. The following are the positions of the various teams: — Ladies’ A Grade. Champ.
The following are the results of last evening’s games: United 10, McDufls 0; W.F.C. 5, Lancers 4; Slate Kitchenette C 5, W.F.C.A. 2; Post and Telegraph 6, Banks 4; A.S.C. 15. A.T.C. 6; Codys 21, C. Smiths 2; Cathies B 14, Rangers B 2; Rangers A 14, State Kitchenette B 4; McKenzies 8, Cathies 6; Garages 2, State B 2. Next Wednesday there will be a series of special challenge matches played and the presentation of trophies in the Y.M.C.A., commencing at 7 p.m.
