There was a record attendance at the annual sale of Mr A. E. Watkin’s O.K. Jerseys held at Takanini, near Auckland, on Tuesday, 87 bulls and heifers making the splendid average of 43gns, a remarkable return of £3,930 15s 6d for the year’s surplus stock from one stud. Twenty-four yearling bulls averaged 63|gns, 32 two-year-old bulls 36?gns, and 31 two-year-old heifers 33 l-3gns.
